Personalised Therapeutic One on One Yoga
One on one therapeutic pregnancy yoga classes offer a way to ease aches or pains, prepare for birth and mentally connect with yourself and your growing baby, relax and prepare for motherhood. If you are experiencing pregnancy related or pre existing conditions such as back pain, tight shoulders or pelvic girdle pain/ symphysis pubis dysfunction then we can work together to design a yoga practice that offers relief and builds strength and flexibility in the right places for you. We will also look at how you feel in yourself and ways that you can nourish yourself mentally as well as physically. The sessions will be uniquely tailored to you, taking into account your specific needs and will include a free pre course check and consultation to discuss what you would like to focus on.
Yoga can prepare your body to move in an intuitive and self-directed way and prepare for your birth, whatever your birth preferences are.

Birth Hypnosis
Yoga is inherently hypnotic with its focus on present moment awareness and expanding our internal landscape. During birth hypnosis we dive deeper intentionally deeper into this hypnogogic state by following a certain method to create neural pathways within your brain that when practised and repeated will lead you automatically into a state of deeply relaxed and focused attention. This will give you the resources to be resilient within your birth so that no matter how your birth unfolds you are able to meet it in an empowered and positive way.

Feelings of fear, overwhelm, anxiety and depression can arise during pregnancy. Trauma sensitive yoga offers an opportunity for these difficult feelings to be processed, freeing the parts of yourself holding these emotions to be fully available and alive to the present moment.
